Hi! My name is Gintarė, and I’m the curious mind behind YOUniverse.
My lifelong passion for understanding how we think, feel, and connect with the world led me to study neuroscience - a journey that not only taught me how the brain works, but also helped me understand myself and others on a deeper level.
Now, I’m on a mission to bring brain science to kids in a way that’s fun, beautiful, and easy to understand. I combine my love of science with a playful, creative spirit to turn complex ideas into stories and illustrations that make learning feel like an adventure rather than a lesson.
My goal is simple: to give children the tools to understand themselves and the world around them better - because every young mind deserves to know just how powerful it really is.

Hi, my name is Ülkü, and I am the storyteller.
I am fascinated by molecular pathways and experiences coming together to shape our inner worlds. This fascination led me to a path in neuroscience research. Alongside science, I have a deep love for creative writing. Stories can connect us in ways that facts alone cannot.
Music has also always been a “key” part of my life. It is hard to identify at what point the tide turned and made it a lifeline - my guess would be the endless childhood road trips accompanied by Vivaldi's “The Four Seasons”. I like to think that, beyond the skillfully executed compositions, it was the goosebumps and sense of awe that roped me in. This captivation I experienced is a prime example of how music can lift us, soothe us, and connect us to something bigger than ourselves.
I hoped to bring all of this wonder into Planet Brain, ultimately blending science and creativity to spark awe in young minds. I believe everyone deserves to see the beauty inside of their own brain.
